A Garden Party at the Mansion

Submitted by: Erin Sniderman (bride)

Wedding location: Michigan

Ceremony and Reception took place in Saugatuck Michigan at the Felt Estate next to Lake Michigan. We used the Water Garden as our ceremony site and held a cocktail reception in and on the grounds of the mansion. The Felt was beautiful enough that very little decorations were needed. We used moss covered potted herbs for the centerpieces and sunflowers and lavender for the bouquets. All with a Budget of $10,000.

With the economy, we had the boys wear a simple black suit, since they already had them, and if not they need one.

And there was a lot of Dancing. We were fortunate with beautiful weather so our dance floor was outside strung with lights and tulle.
