My Melissa Sweet gown was the first dress I tried on in all of my shopping. It took me awhile to finally decide on it, but after several months I realized I was in love! I added pearl and Swarovski crystal brooches to the sides to make it my own. I'm also carrying my late grandmother's antique rosary which made the day all the more special for me.

This photo makes us feel so loved. We love how it captures the beautiful cathedral where we were married and all of our family and friends that traveled so far to be with us in St. Louis. Everyone loved seeing the Arch!

Instead of escort cards arranged on a table, we decided to adorn our florist's beautiful arrangements with peony escort cards. The paper peonies were attached to the arrangements with thin satin ribbon bearing guests' names on one side and table numbers on the other. The peonies were also printed on all of our other wedding stationary.

I loved how our wedding cake incorporated our theme of peonies. Not only did our florist top the cake with fresh peonies (like those in my bouquet), but the pastry chef used the exact peony from our wedding invitations to stencil sugar peonies all over the cake.

This photo was taken right at the moment before we were announced into our reception. I love how the photo captures such a quick moment. We didn't even remember doing this before we walked in!

For our reception decor, we decided to focus on lighting. We chose low floral centerpieces that were highlighted with pin spot lights on each table. To pay tribute to the grand architecture of our reception site, we projected a floral gobo light pattern on the ceiling. The small floor tiles in our reception site date back to the 1930's and also played on the lighting theme of our reception.

As we left our reception, all of our guests gathered outside to give us a sparkling send off! We were so thrilled to finally be married and had just had the time of our lives with all of our family and friends.
