Wedding location: Chateau Polonez-Houston, Texas
We decided to keep our entire wedding planning a secret and we knew we had to find a venue that had a "wow" appeal. The Chateau Polonez was the perfect place. The venue is family owned and it was a great back drop to the "Simple but Elegant" ambiance we were trying to create for our "Special Day". We fell in love with this place the moment we drove up to the gate. All the credit goes to my husband who found the venue in one of my bridal magazines. We only looked at one other place prior to the Chateau and we signed on the dotted line the day we visited.....that's how excited we were. We still drive by every now and then just to look at the lights at night. We plan to have our 25th wedding anniversary at the Chateau Polonez.

We honeymooned in Spain and decided to name each of our tables a city in Spain. The dinner napkins were decorated with a rhinestone H (our wedding logo) tied with a copper colored ribbon. In lieu of wedding favors we made a special donation to two of our charities in honor of each guest. The information was printed in a tent fold card and placed at each guest place setting.
