Our ceremony took place in the afternoon at Pioneer Park. Hirsch Floral did the bouquets, corsages, and the arch. I arranged the aisle markers and the reception flowers using bulk flowers from Gabilan Flower Wholesalers. My main flower choice was white football mums, with pussywillow branches, alstromeria and yellow yaro and lilies. The flowers turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the wedding, they were amazing and just what I had imagined!

Creating a outdoor ceremony from the ground up is difficult. I opted to "define" our space in this huge park by "funneling" people in to the aisle using 4 foot high shepherd hooks and organza. I then found yellow and green bee catchers and filled them with my favorite flower, white mums. I also had yellow and white petals down the aisle. A large shepherd hook was also placed in the parking lot with a sign stating "Wedding" with an arrow, ,very chic!

During our bride shoot we just happened to find this tree with a carved heart in it. Birch trees are my favorite tree so this bride shot is special. My earrings and necklace are from my Grandma Boehm who received them as a gift before she was married.

We opted for a brushed steel monogram topper. Our cake was delicious! White and chocolate layers with a kahlua mocha mousse between. A friend of the family made our cake as well as decorated it with fresh roses and alstromeria. Perfect!

Our reception was held at the Doublewood Inn. I had fun designing our tables. I used green linens to accent the white linens, gold and green votives, and placed our favors on the tables to double as decorations. I printed out our favorite quotes, put them on cardstock and tied the tops with bows and placed one at each setting. Our other favors were these cute river rocks with "love" engraved on them. Andy (who is a writer) came up with quotes for the tags on the favors. The flowers I arranged (with the help of family) myself using wholesale flowers bought from Gabilan wholesalers. The pussy willow branches added a unique texture and height to the arrangements.
