Andy & Paige: A spring wedding in Snoqualmie, WA

Submitted by: Paige Kasai (bride)
Wedding date: 06/29/2008
Wedding location: Washington

The wedding flowers were a mixture of calla lilies, tulips and bear grass. The floral arrangements were created by a friend of the family as a wedding present. My jewelry was created by MEW designs and included fresh water pearls. The necklace hung down in the back which really showed off my low backed dress.

Our Flower Girls wore dresses with inlaid faux rose petals that freely moved. They were adorable.

Favors were Mauna Loa chocolate covered macadamia nuts inside small with boxes secured with a decorative sticker purchased online from myweddinglabels.com. It had special meaning for my family who is originally from Hawaii. I also tried to sprinkle some Hawaiian music into the ceremony and reception. We had a cake by Borracchini's bakery based in Seattle. They are famous for their butter cream frosting!

Thank you for your kind comment! BTW, I love your gown! I mean this in the highest of compliments, but there is something about it that looks flamenco to me. Perfect choice for dancing the night away! My husband is from WA and most of his family still lives there. You picked a beautiful spot to have your wedding. Congratulations!
