We had 28 people in our wedding party. People discouraged us and told us we were crazy..but we were determined to have all of our close friends there. Looking back it was perfect and we couldn't imagine the day without any of them.

This is the view from the 2nd story of the Plantation looking down at the ceremony. It was very intimate.

I had bought cute sparkly shoes to go under my wedding dress. At the last minute I said..."Hand me my boots...I'm gonna surprise Evan." He was very happy!

We decided to toast with IBC creme soda and root beer instead of champagne. Evan introduced the drink to me when we first met.

My 12 bridesmaids paired up and danced down the aisle to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!" I wanted our wedding to be totally us. It was so much fun ...they each had their own dance and it fit their personalities. The grommsmen did not dance down, but pulled up in a hay ride pulled by a tractor to "Good Ol' Boys" from the Dukes of Hazard. The guests were totally surprised and laughed and danced along with them.
