The bridesmaids all wore the same dress. The florist was a good friend of the bride. They carried a bouquet of sunflowers, mango calla lillies, red roses and ranuculous, irises, sprays of wheat, deep purple statice and orange Asiatic lillies. The bride's bouquet also had white stephanotis.
The church and reception were also decorated with mum plants.

As centerpieces, pumpkins were grown by the bride and groom, carved out and filled with flowers. Other tables had pumpkins with an "R" carved in them for the couple's last name.
As a thank you, the bride and groom gave each guest a small gourd.
