Wedding date: September 15, 2007
Wedding location: Altadena, Ca
I love this picture and how the pink pops out... Make up by MAC cosmetics in Pasadena, Ca. I walked in without an appointment & the girls were wonderful; specially Topaz. Hair, I did myself. The appointment I had that week with my stylist went horrible so I had no one! I don't know how I pulled it off! Dress from Davids Bridal. It was simple yet gorgeous; I just added the pink ribbon & made it my own.

Our location was amazing! I saw it once & had to have it. Our ceremony was short & sweet by Rev. Carolyn, followed by an indoor reception upstairs. Flowers by Spectacular Florals. Location: The Altadena Town & Country Club.

I began designing our cake 1st alone, then Brian was seriously getting into it himself. With the help of Jaqki from Jaqki's Bakery in Burbank, Ca, we designed our non-traditional cake. She bakes from the heart! That cake was delicious! Of course we had to have the pink and again I just added the chocolate brown ribbon on it. Cake decor from weddingfavorbliss.com

I used Spectacular Florals and worked with Liz Tran, she was amazing! I told her what flowers were my favorite and she put this beautiful centerpiece together with pink crystals in the vase. We used the same flowers in different combinations throughout the wedding. Off-white with a hint of pink for my bouquet, toss & Brian's, pink gerbera daisies for bridesmaids and white with hint of pink for maid of honor.

This is the reception in the Mendocino room at the ATCC. That's my beautiful flower girl sitting there... As favors, we gave each of our guests a heart shaped cookie cutter with a sugar cookie recipe and a note saying, "Enjoy, while remembering the sweetness of our day." -Brian and I love sugar cookies; his grandmas are our favorite! Favors also came from weddingfavorbliss.com (their quality & prices are the best).

Our fun and amazing friends & sisters... If not family, these friends have been around for 15+ years, both his & mine. Using pink & chocolate brown, I let each girl choose the style they wanted & felt comfortable in. Dress & shoes from Davids Bridal. And the guys in traditional black suits & pink... they loved that! from the Mens Warehouse.

Finally, huge credit to our photographers Connie & Jeff. A young married couple themselves, they knew how special this day was. Their discrete approach & amazing eye to detail provided us with wonderful memories to share with our loved ones for ever. Here is a sweet moment & one of our favorite pictures during our 1st dance... Brian as always making me laugh. We danced to the music of Frank Sinatra's, "Strangers in the Night." Dj: Tino Galvez (tgalvez.originalsounds@verizon.net) was wonderful feeling the vibe in the room & keeping everyone on their feet.
I was very lucky to have every single one of these vendors on this day; next to my family & friends of course! :) Everything/Everyone was perfect!
