This photo is all about the bride!Black is my signature color. As a little surprise I had a black petticoat added to my dress. The socks are also a trade mark of mine. Added bonus, I work at the Capitol of Texas. :)

I was not big on spending a lot of money on flowers. We rented iron trees and had candles, orchids & crystals "floating" from them. Guests still rave about them!

We handed a rough draft of our cake to our baker and she went beyond our expectations! I literally cried when I saw it. The table cloth was hand sewn by my mother.

My husband travels the country teaching MRI applications.The grooms cake was a surprise to him and his co-workers who traveled to our wedding. The MRI was so detailed that it had a little patient that slid out and his co-workers sent a photo to the main corporate office in Germany!

Our ceremony altar. We were unable to marry in my Catholic church. As a little touch we exchanged communion. We also lit unity candles and candles in memory of passed family members.
