Makeup artist Tina from Wedding Box in Flushing does a full updo for the bride's hair. According to custom, when a girl is married, all of their hair should be worn up. This traditional hairpiece was purchased online to match the Chinese Han Fu (漢服) dress.
The bride is a big Hello Kitty aficionado and the wedding would not have been complete without the participation of Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel.
The groom, groomsmen and bridesmaids participate in the traditional open-door-ceremony games in order to enter the bride's home.

DVD Programs containing a montage of the couple made by the bride were given to guests before the ceremony. The programs were made from white DVD cases, ribbon, eyelets and vellum. Design and layout were done in Illustrator.
Petal cones were also given to guests along with the DVD programs above. They were designed by the bride in Illustrator, then assembled by the bridesmaids and the groom using scalloped scissors, double sided tape and 1/4 inch mint green ribbon.
The couple is about to lead the recessional as the groom's father happily claps.
The bride's bouquet was made of green cymbidium and purple vanda orchids.
The bridesmaids' bouquets were made of the same purple vanda orchids to pair with the purple and green color scheme for the evening.
The same green cymbidium orchids in the bride's bouquet also made up some of the centerpieces during the reception. Table numbers were designed by the bride in Illustrator and made from cardstock, double sided tape and a corner punch.
The wedding cake in the background is made of smoothed mint green buttercream and chocolate ganache.
The ceramic figurine favors were purchased from Hong Kong. Favor tags were designed by the bride's good friend while the bride designed & assembled the menus on leftover cardstock & ribbon using Illustrator.
