Wedding date: July 29, 2007
Wedding location: The Brownstone in Paterson, NJ
I wanted gerbers from day one and my now husband insisted on them as well because he knwos they are my favorite flower and wanted to have the sentimental attachment of them to such an important day in our lives. I was so worried about the flowers and it was for nothing. They were AMAZING... So much so that not one of the girls in my BP wanted to sacrifice her bouquet to me for the toss! :)So we didn't do it. Each of the hand-wrapped stems were painted by the florist to match the individual color of each girl's dress. The dresses were Bari Jay in boysenberry, tangerine and red.

My shoes were one of my favorite items that I wore the Day Of, next to my headpiece. I worked the wedding colors around them despite the protests and raised brows from certain members of the family.."ahem".,,and on the big day, EVERYONE kept asking me to flash both garter and shoes because they got such a kick out of them. I think they added a bit of my personality to my very traditional ivory alecon lace gown; tradition meets FUNK LOL.My husband also wore ox blood red doc martens to match

This is my husband's favorite picture of me ironically-yet another candid shot. Its the first moment I looked up at my husband. I was SOOOO nervous walking down the aisle I didn't ever glance straight ahead till this moment. He winked at me and I offered a smile, trying to keep from bursting out into hysterical laughter which happens when i get nervous! I also snort which would NOT have been cool!

I LOVED our cake. Vanilla with fresh napolean cream and berries-well minus the berries because they forgot but it was STILL delicious! It just looks SO HAPPY in our pics and makes our LOVE letters stand out. Hard to see them, but they are decorated with gerber daisy decals too.

This is of of my favorite photo sof me from the day-totally candid. It was our first dance and my poor hubby was so nervous (he is VERY shy about dancing in public) to try and ease his tension, he grabbed my tush to get a laugh. It worked. The room cracked up and I just feel its the shot that best captures the happiness that filled my heart during such an important moment in our lives. I prefer the closer up version of this shot, but this one showed off the gorgeous room. The other one is in my profile. Check it out!

I just love this picture of us-yet another candid shot but it captured one of the few quiet private moments between us. We were just so giddy over having just said I Do!
