Kenneth and I dated for 11 years before we finally tied the knot. We met when I was 16 and he was 17. Since then we have been inseparable. One of our favorite things to do together is snowboard. So to bring that element in to our wedding, we decided to have a snowboard sign-in. I designed a logo with our names and transferred it on to a white snowboard. We had sharpie's in pink, green and brown for our guests' to sign with.

I am the owner of a small design studio (www.designsbyyu.com) who specializes in custom handmade invitations and stationery so I went nuts designing different elements for our wedding. These wedding programs were handed to our guests along with a bottle of water with a custom label also designed by me.

I especially had fun designing our centerpieces & favor boxes. We had vases filled with 3 different types of pink & green candy (strawberry & green apple mentos, melon & apple rings, and strawberry daiquiri & margarita jelly belly). There were empty favor boxes for guests' to fill the sweets in. Our goal was to have guests' mingle amongst each other so we had different candies at different table. It was a success! The centerpieces also doubled as our table numbers.

This is my wedding gown. I fell in love with the first time I saw it. It is a strapless bodice decorated with multi-color floral lace contrasted by a multi-gathered unadorned skirt.
