Hospital

We put together our wedding in two weeks since my mothers cancer was progressing we were not sure how much time we had left. There was no way I could get married without my mother there for the ceremony. Unfortunately she was admitted into the hospital the day before the wedding was to take place but luckily my father was doing the service and we got married in the hospital two days before my mom passed away. It was a beautiful moment when I kissed my mom after the ceremony and she began to cry. Right then I knew she was aware and was able to be with us on the special day.

We decided to continue with the small gathering at the house and have a second ceremony for those that could not join us at the hospital. It was so special to be able to share that day with close friends and family. My father did an amazing job and my friends, especially Esther, helped to get everything ready at the house.

It was such a beautiful setting at the house with the groomsmens green shirts and the woods in the background.

My mother gave me my grandmothers wedding ring which was exactly the style I wanted. It makes me think of them everyday when I look down at my hand.

My flower girl, Sophie, who is the daughter of my best friend of over 20 years, Kate. The flower arrangements were also beautiful. Big huge Peonies.
