We definitely put the "winter" into our Winter Wonderland wedding! We got married on Friday, December 19, 2008. The morning started out as a cold clear day. Come ceremony time there was a light dusting of snow... an hour later they couldn't keep up with shoveling off the church stairs. By the end of the night over 16 inches of fluffy white snow fell to the ground. Luckily it did not stop our family and friends from having fun, or our amazing photographer from taking some amazing outdoor pictures in the snow!

Our reception was held at the Barker Tavern in beautiful Scituate Harbor,MA. The Williams Room at the Barker Tavern is intimate and elegant to begin with, but come the Christmas season it is decked out with trees, lights, and villages to lift the Christmas cheer. This is one of my favorite artsy pictures that Keith took by the tree and fireplace in our reception room.

Our beautiful wedding cake from Konditor Meister bakery in Braintree, Ma. Each of the four layers was a different flavor. It was covered in white chocolate snowflakes in dusted in edible glitter for a nice snow effect.

Our first dance to Better Together by Jack Johnson. Better Together was what we had engraved in both our wedding bands along with the date. In the background you can see our serpentine shaped head table. We used floor length ruby linen and an ivory overlay on the head table and floor length ivory linen and a ruby overlay on the rest of the tables.
