I abandoned my plan for a half-up style last minute and opted for a loose updo when the day turned out to be the first of a heatwave! I was nervous to wing it so last minute but it turned out much better. The bridesmaids pinned a couple daisies and mini daisies from the bouquets into my hair.

The bridesmaids all chose their own dress style in the same color (bahama breeze) from Jasmine Bridal at Hearts for You in Englishtown, NJ. The groomsmen simply wore a pair of khaki pants, white shirt, and matching bahama breeze ties from Men's Warehouse. A white sash separated the maid of honor, and the best man wore a khaki suit to match the groom!

Despite a lot of people telling us it wouldn't work, we decided to use bright goldfish as centerpieces and filled the bottoms with marbles to match the bridesmaid's dresses! We made sure to have a back up home for all of the fish, and included care instructions and supplies for those taking them home! For favors, the couple made bookmarks with a love quote, our picture, and a thank you. We also personalized colorful beach balls with a customized logo with our initials, our names and wedding date, which the guests enjoyed inflating and tapping around the dance floor!

We opted for a less traditional "fun-fetti cake," vanilla cake mixed with melted sprinkles, and vanilla buttercream icing covered in colorful sprinkles as well!

We used a combination of the bride's favorite (daisies) and the groom's favorite (sunflowers). I skipped the heels and wore white bejewelled flip flops on the hot day!
