Our cake was both beautiful and delicious! The cake topper was an "R" monogram ordered from wwww.beaucoup.com. I thought it was very simple and classy. I wanted to avoid the traditional cake topper, since the wedding was more modern than traditional. The cake itself was created by Gourmet Bake Shoppe in Virginia Beach, VA. The flavor was a rich almond chambourd, and the guests loved it.

The Virginia Wesleyan College reception venue was pure opulence. The head table is pictured here: white table linens, black chair covers with red sashes, long-stemmed red roses and tall silver candelabras. Smaller votive candles also added to the luminescence of the evening. The guest favors were tux and gown boxes filled with personalized wedding mints.

I'll never forget our first dance. The coordinator at reception hall at Virginia Wesleyan College did an outstanding job with the drapery and lighting that stood as the focal point of the room.

My dress fit like a dream. It was purchased from David's Bridal. They have an extensive collection to choose from, so it took much deliberation to finally make my decision. In the end though, I know this dress was made for me!
