well my husband is from there and all of his family (which is HUGE!) still lives there so we decided it would be fun and more practical for my (very small) family and our friends in the US to make the trip over. They not only got to go to a wedding but got a great vacation out of it too! As for the specific location, the church happens to be his sister's local and I have always loved it beauty and history. And the reception site is down the road (and across a field!) from the house he grew up in where his family still resides.
what about you? Do you both live in Germany? or how did you decide on your location?
