My mother is a rock--strong and unwavering. I've seen her cry in my life barely enough to count on one hand. That morning, as we were getting ready, I started to help her into her dress. The emotion of watching her only daughter get ready for her wedding, proved more than my mom could handle...and she began to cry. She profusely apologized over and over again, as if I would be upset. I smiled and said, "Its okay mom." As I helped her into the dress, she wiped her tears and the photographer caught that moment.

I have such a bond with my little niece, and having her as my flowergirl truly made the day even more special. During the reception, towards the end, I picked her up and she planted her hand on my face and said "I love you Titi."
