The bride wore a white beaded lace and organza ball gown with a pickup skirt and chapel train by Oleg Cassini. The bridal party wore bright blue strapless dresses from Bridal Design and tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse. The flowers were orange roses and orange orchids.

The reception was held at Yellowfin Steak and Fish House in Edgewater, Maryland. The centerpieces were martini glasses filled with ocean blue stones, and surrounded by blue and white beach glass and blue and orange ribbon. The bride made the wedding menus on her home computer using paper from Michaels. The tapas-style menu included "Special Drinks" - a Wedding Cake Martini and Nuclear Waste!

The wedding cake was a four tier chocolate cake with rasberry and chocolate ganache filling, and Italian meringue buttercream icing. It was decorated with a crashing waves design, white chocolate shells, and orange orchids. The cake was designed by Fiona Bryson at Fiona's Cakes.
