The couple got engaged in New York City so the tables at the reception were named after famous landmarks in New York City. Each table card featured a photo of the couple at each NYC spot.

The couple danced their last dance to "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel.

The reception was held in the Sculpture Court at the Walters Art Museum in Mt. Vernon. Tables were decorated with white linens, black and silver damask-like napkins and hot pink arrangements of various assortments. The bride designed her own programs to match the black and white theme and topped them off with a hot pink bow.

After the ceremony, the bridal party walked to historic Mt. Vernon for portraits. The bridesmaids wore black trumpet gowns by Watters & Watters and carried hot pink bouquets designed by Floral Couture by Colleen.
