The morning of our wedding, a huge snow storm dropped 10 inches of snow on the city of Detroit. If that is not good luck, I don't know what is! Most of our guests made it, but it was quite a stressful day!

My Bridesmaids and Jr Bridesmaid. I found their dresses at Ann Taylor. The Jr. Bridesmaids dress was from Davids Bridal. I had a hard time finding something to match the girls that would fit her, but I think it went well.

Our cake was very yummy! It was made by Elite Sweets, in Livonia, MI. My cake topper was from my grandparents that were married for 62 years. My grandmother passed away one week after my shower. The shower was exactly 2 months till the date of our wedding. It was a hard day to get through without her.

Instead of the typical diamond, I wanted a pearl as my engagement ring, which is my birthstone. The diamonds in my band are from my grandmother's ring.

I wanted winter flowers, without it looking like Christmas. So instead of the traditional red and green colors, I decided on pink and green. It gave a much softer look.

It is so difficult to find dresses for women with bigger chests! Luckily, I found a great dress at Macy's bridal salon, at Somerset Collection, in Troy MI. My dress was a Romona Keveza.

The flower in my hair was made by tijusai on etsy.com. She did a great job and everyone loved it! My makeup was done by Chanel at Saks Fifth Ave.
