We got married on the lawn of the Citadel Beach House overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. White rose petals lined the aisle and made their way up to a chuppah (canopy) made of bamboo poles with an ivory organza covering made by my grandmother.

The cake was made by Michelle Purser, who works at our local Piggly Wiggly grocery store! Seashells made out of sugar decorated the cake, which was surrounded by brown sugar, thought by everyone to be actual sand!It was a huge hit with all of the out of towners.

Continuing with the beach theme, my husband's boutonniere was made of a white calla lilly and a white starfish. Floral design by Jade Water Florist of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

My bridesmaids wore Raylia dresses with a corset back matching the back on my Mori Lee gown. My gift to them was a starfish necklace and matching earrings, which you can see on my maid of honor, to my left!
