Wedding location: Texas
We were married just between Fredericksburg and Kerrville, Texas at Kairos Celebration Barn. What I thought would be a very hot event, was a blessed 80 degrees! Since the wedding was on a holiday weekend, there was so much excitement in the air and plenty to do in Fredericksburg. I chose the color yellow because of the beautiful wildflowers that were blooming behind us as we stood under that beautiful oak tree. My thoughts were to work with the natural surroundings. I also worked with a lot of greens and an orchid colored stock for the bridesmaids bouquets.

My bouquet was Vendela roses with ivory stock and pale yellow dahlias. I carried my Papa's hankie with my married monogram and the date on it. Blumenhandler Florist in Fredericksburg did the flowers and they did phenomenal! We used lots of curly willow and very organic elements. I did rustic lanterns on the tables sitting atop moss with arrangements of hydrangeas, dahlias, and fresh artichokes. It turned out great!

Had to add this! With the Rehearsal Dinner being on the 4th of July, we had a LOT of red, white, and blue going on! The site was the Nimitz Pacific War Museum on Main Street in Fredericksburg. Spencer's grandfather was in the Pacific during the war so it was really special. As favors we had koozies with fire works on them and our names as well as American flag fans. My mother-in-law knocked it out of the park with Cooper's BBQ out of Llano!

Being a hairstylist my self, I knew that I wanted something out of my way but still soft and natural. I wore my sister's Cathedral length veil and
after the ceremony, we put a yellow dahlia in my hair. My hairstylist and makeup artist did an amazing job!
