What on earth is wrong with people?? I just put my wedding pix up in Sept. and came across some other negative accusations on people's pages. (I didn't even know about any contest) So if it's any consolation, you're not the only ones who had such terrible people looking at your links. How discouraging! Regardless, I'm sure you're happy in your three-fold cord :D

The below statement is a load of bs. No one believes that was actually from Erica Dodd, Cenny. You are pathetic- writing an apology to yourself. I hope that helps you feel better about yourself.

My Apologies Cenny. I can't take it anymore. Ackerman and myself have left numerous negative comments on your pages and several others under different names during this contest. We have even encouraged other to do so. We truly do not want you to win and hope you don't. We support two other weddings and you were getting high ratings. So there it is! Thought I'd confess at this last hour, especially since no one knows who I really am! Sorry!

Having been away for a while and to come back to comments like these are ludicrous! I don't believe Cenny or Frank would do any of what they've been accused of during this content. I'm glad it's over today and I hope The Knot has learned either not to encourage such behavior by allowing it to continue or the need to not have a contest like this in the future. Cenny and Frank: You both look wonderful, have always had my support and will continue to have it into the distant future. I'm glad you haven't allowed any of this to cause you to sink low with those who degrade. I truly hope you win, you deserve it, even after all the false accusations, the votes make it obvious that you have our support and those who don't even know you. See you soon!

Jessica, We chose soon after our entry not comment during this contest as a result of the negative comments made on our pictures by "Sarah Keller;" but, after reading yours, I thought you deserved a response from me, the real Cenny. I asked all my supporters not to respond to the nasty comments made on my pages or to comment on anyone else's wedding, but just to vote for me, and I see they have done just that. People have left so many rude and negative comments, some signing in as me and my husband and as if they were friends of ours. Because this was definitely unacceptable, to sign as if we were leaving the comments, we asked The Knot to remove them. Other than that, we could care less what someone says about us during this contest because we know they really don't know us, and we are not offended so easily. I read one entry where a bride cried because of such comments, sad but it shows you gotta have a backbone to deal with this kind of backbiting. With that said, I don't know who "D. Washington" is or any of the others that are commenting on my pages, yours, or the others during this contest. "Washington" may be one of my supporters but I'm sorry I do not know who she/he is and regret that it's assumed that I do. This entire contest has been very discouraging to me and my husband and we will never enter another one, at least not one where anybody can leave any kind comments saying just about anything they want. As a matter of fact, we could care less whether we win or not, at this discouraging point of the contest! I really do appreciate the kind comments you and others have given, but chose not to respond to those either. Just remember there are really mean, hateful, and just plain rude people hiding behind the Internet which, in fact, allows them to show their true colors. I strongly believe, "you reap what you sow" (Galatians 6:7) so they'll get it back one way or another. Cenny

Dear Tammy Kennedy, Sam Benson, Sanja Miles, Candice Preston, Monte Simmons, and Donnel Shaw and all past, present, and future aliases, (aka FRANK/CENNY NORRIS) : Must you display such clear evidence of fraudulent emails?? How much deeper do you want to dig yourself into this ditch of lies and deception? This is just a suggestion but maybe you can just do yourself, and us all, the favor of just ZIPPING IT! Otherwise, you are certainly providing us a fabulous circus show where you both are starring as Bozo the Clown.

How weird is it that Tammy Kennedy, Sam Benson, Sanja Miles, Candice Preston, Monte Simmons, and Donnel shaw all left the same 800 word message multiple times here? I wonder who the person using all of those fake names is...interesting.

Well, I can believe that a contest, such as this, could cause so many people to raise their ugly heads! I'm glad the winner is not chosen on the comments as they show just how much prejudice (not necessarily racial) continues to exist in this wicked world. I don't think the wedding, photos, etc., are all that exceptional either, but it's only a contest. No one has asked for blood, sweat, or tears. I don't get, thru this submission, that the couple claimed that their wedding should win an award of 10 million dollars, the most they would get is publicity thru The Knot, which is not that big of a deal. Perhaps you all should use this occasion to get your hearts and minds moving in a more positive direction, not so much for this couple but in general. So many people have allowed a simple contest to cause them to be so distraught, angry, upset, or whatever other synonym you would like to use, over an entry into a contest where you really aren't winning much of anything! To the one that will win the trip to Cape Town, well, good for you. And because of the persecution and ridicule this couple has received, I hope they win the trip, really.

If you are both going to act like this, leaving rude comments and cheating in a silly contest, you really should not profess to be Christians on your website. It is a disservice to those who are sincere in their faith- people like you are what is wrong with the church today. Shame on you both.

Very nice entries Frank & Cenny. If you win, it would be very much deserved! I wish you the best!

I think this is too over the top and not real.
Wedding of the year?
Congratulations on your marriage and wish you the world of happiness.

If there is any poetic justice to be served here, this wedding would earn every viewer's vote, and every cheater's votes, tenfold until it skyrocketed to the winning spot, far ahead of the competition. Why? So The Knot would be forced to print and air it as the winner. Might it go against the expectations of its readership? Send the editorial and art staff scrambling for damage control? Maybe lose some subscribers and (God forbid) advertisers? Exactly. This whole contest is problematic to begin with. Because the voting system is faulty? Maybe. But mostly, IMHO, because it is inherently wrong for weddings to be positioned in competition. These events are so personal and at the heart of each new couple and their loved ones, and when fragile egos are on the line emotions run perilously high. The Knot may be commended for the positive things this contest fosters -- people sharing their weddings, spreading some love, trading ideas and networking. But whatever corporate flack at this company decided that this beauty contest would be a good idea -- and the powers that be who actually green-lighted it -- should seriously reconsider their priorities. Yes, all weddings, like babies, are inherently beautiful (though the more expensive photographers do tend to evoke the prettiest babies). The Knot might have realized that to put them in competition would also foster insecurity, hurt feelings, hostility, avarice, dishonesty, and general ugliness that belongs nowhere near this environment. If this wedding wins, it may actually force The Knot to reconsider this idea next year. Or maybe not, as there's no such thing as bad publicity...it would be nice to think this was just some demented sociology experiment but that's doubtful...it's just kind of sad. (OK, so I didn't make it as a finalist ... I am in good company.)

I thought what I saw was wonderful. Your dress, Beautiful!! Where in the world did you ever find it. It is sooo refreshing to see Jehovah's people having a wonderful time. You put a lot of thought into your wedding. I just hope that mine is just as wonderful. Also, the brother that gave you away, I haven't seen him in quite some time. He still looks the same. I thought this was the most beautiful wedding it was well organized and the fall theme was so attractive and down to the little details it captured my attention to have a large party every one was in harmony and just a smooth flow i loved it.

I count it a privilege to have been a part of the wedding of my older sister. I hope you win the contest, the wedding, reception, the wedding party, the pictures, video, etc., all show that you and Frank deserve it!
