Trash the Dress - La Dolce Vita

Editors' Pick!

These days many brides are opting for “Trash the Dress” shoots instead of preserving or passing down their wedding gowns. Diva Productions recently decided to corroborate with Heather Forrester of PhotographyByHeather.net on this popular trend by capturing it through photography and film. Looking for something truly unique for our first joint session, we decided to pay homage to Federico Fellini’s classic "La Dolce Vita."

haha fruitcake yuk! that's too funny! we knew we'd be more focused on drinking to worry about eat the cake ourselves so we went with what we knew people would enjoy instead of with the traditional furitcake drenched in brandy. hahaha

Hey Ladies! Thanks for the kudos. It was FREEZING when we filmed this. Fellini filmed the original La Dolce Vita during March when the water was reputedly very cold. We've heard that Marcello Mastroianni had to wear a wetsuit under his clothes to get through filming. We were in the middle of a cold snap when we shot this, but Brittany managed the shoot without resorting neoprene.

Your bride looks like an old fashioned screen star! Was it cold when you filmed this?
